BToto gets MoF approval for S’pore transfer
GAMING: Sports Toto lays claim to offering the most number of games in Malaysia and having the largest domestic network of 680 outlets in Malaysia
THE proposed transfer by Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd (BToto) of its entire gaming business to a Singaporeconstituted business trust to be listed on the island state’s stock exchange has received the approval of the Finance Ministry (MoF).
In its Bursa filing, yesterday, BToto said MoF had in “its letter dated July 27, which was received on Aug 1, approved the application for the change of STM’s (Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd) shareholder from BToto to Sports Toto Malaysia Management Pte Ltd, which will hold STM on trust”.
